This may be the last race night of the year...
We will not race on 12/21 and I'm not yet sure about 12/28.
Time trials start at 7:30 and racing begins at 9:00 sharp.
I am pondering ways to penalize racers for delay of game.
Seriously
The NASCAR guys don't all wait in the pits while Tony Stewart changes his pinion gear.
Matt Kenseth does not get another beer because Jeff Gordon is changing his tires.
I'm thinking that x minutes between the end of one and start of the next race is going to become law. Of course, there will be exceptions that we have not yet discovered.

I'll second that..............
How about 1 min. between races, and 3 min on a rotate? We do have enough people that car repairs can be done on your sit-out.
If you miss a race due to not being able to run, you would be awarded the score of one? or zero? A back up car would be legal to use in this situation? I would say yes. You might be able to at least salvage some points until your sit-out for repair.
I am just tossing out ideas here. Repair would be a race night vote as to let the person repair and wait or not? Of course if it's G-Force's car all above said rules would not apply!!! j/k
This penalize idea coming from one of the biggest game delayers, mixing his drinks, going for a smoke break, saying goodbye to DICK. HA! HA! What are we on a slotcar circuit, or are we here to have fun I hope that you 2 are not serious. I don't think you are, but who knows with you 2

I vote...car breaks,(BREAKS), fix it. (i.e. lose a SHOE, broke BODY, BENT AXEL), ABSOLUTELY NO TWEEKING ONCE A GRID, YES GRID, IS STARTED. OPTION... EACH TWEEK COSTS 1 OR 2 POINTS OFF THE END TOTAL. DEFINE "TWEEK" YOU ASK... oil, change tires, change timing, or anything else that was not as you started your racing grid. If you need a change, it has to be asked and UNANIMOUSLY agreed upon. or no go! If tweak is done in violation... a "zero" is put inside your total for that lane. If your car all of a sudden runs slow...too bad so sad. NASCAR will let you race slowly around the track if you're having problems, so will we. That my friends is my "2 cents" Sir Ricky Racer
WWBD?
They race a little different, cumulative laps run. But they have a hard 60 second count on lane rotates. You can do whatever you want on a rotate, when 60 sec is up, racing resumes. If you loose a shoe, break a chassis, bend a axle, etc. You are S.O.L.!! I believe that to be a little harsh for our club.
If major repair is needed. ie:Replace shoe, bent axle, etc. Go do it, the car is un-operational. Please get it done in a timely manner. If your car is just slow, you get 60 sec inbetween races, and 3 min on a rotate. We've all had car issues before like that. While your out, ie; urinal, starter, etc, do whatever you need to do to your car. If you want to change tires inbetween races, oil, change timing, etc. You got 60 sec. to do so.
I think is all G is trying to accomplish is getting in more racing (grids) in a night. For the time that we are there, we should get in at least 3 maybe 4 grids. That would increase EVERYONE's enjoyment.
Set-up time at the beginning of the night should be cut down. We all get there around 7:30 or 8:00, we should have a hard start time like 8:30 or 9:00. Yes, we had new cars, guys running to get tires, etc. the past couple weeks. But that is done with now. We should set a hard start time IMO. Let repairs be made, and have a limit on said tweaks inbetween races. Like nasty said, we should limit G on all his drink mixing and kissing goodnight. Good call Scott. Good call.
Just another idea that I had, and tossing it out there.
