OK boys, here's the news.
I have modified some Wizzard traction magnets to fit the G3 chassis. It really wasn't that hard to do, the design is quite similar. The step at the bottom of the magnet just needs to be larger (both vertically and horizontilly) If you want me to modify them thats fine, or you can use the stone I have and I can show you what to do. The first pair took me approx. 45 min. I was particularilly careful however. Should be able to do it in 15 to 20 minutes now. If you want me to do it, either buy them at LB's and leave them there with my name on it and shoot me a e-mail to get them or give them to me on race night. If race night is your option, I will have them ready by the next race night.
G-force was the guinea pig tester of the magnets I modded, he ended up purchasing them from me. These magnets are also the latest and greatest level 25 magnets. I also believe, at this time, G-force is the only racer running level 25 magnets, not even I have run them yet! Sooner or later BSRT may produce them, if you decide to wait, your choice.
Wizzard part#: MHP63B-25 1pair
Description: Storm Generation II Polymer Traction Magnets Level 25
Price: $25.00 (BSRT will be at least $35.00)
Please allow a couple days before race night for me to do this for you, I do have family and work obligations also.
Thanks, and Merry Christmas to everyone!!

Now... this is fun!
After weighing all of the opinions, I have determined what the rules should be...
We will always start the first grid at nine (usually)
The time between races is the length of time it takes me to make a drink.
The time between rotates is the time for me to eat and to visit the urinal.
The time between grids is the time it takes me to make two drinks and take a smoke break.
I get several "time outs" throughout the night (the time it takes for someone to fix my car)

Friday 12/14
This may be the last race night of the year...
We will not race on 12/21 and I'm not yet sure about 12/28.
Time trials start at 7:30 and racing begins at 9:00 sharp.
I am pondering ways to penalize racers for delay of game.
Seriously
The NASCAR guys don't all wait in the pits while Tony Stewart changes his pinion gear.
Matt Kenseth does not get another beer because Jeff Gordon is changing his tires.
I'm thinking that x minutes between the end of one and start of the next race is going to become law. Of course, there will be exceptions that we have not yet discovered.

12/07/07 Friday Race Night
You can show up after 7:30 ish.
Some guys can putz and clean the track and make drinks for me and Steve.
I think we should try to schedule the first grid to begin at 9:00.
Earlier than 9:00 would be nice, but I don't think it is possible.

Raced with my little guy this morning!
He had discovered the new Tweety car and the box of goodies. We set up our track and raced box G+. WOW, I used to think they were fast, but the Tweety blew it away. Ian started racing it, blew my doors off! Guess I will have to the get the other one built and a plastic body for him to race....Wonder if St. Nick will bring him a new car!
He will be joining us at the next race for awhile! He is 5, but is pumped!
